One-on-one lessons
One-on-one lessons are individually designed to address each student’s unique strengths, challenges, and musical aspirations. With a flexible lesson duration of either 30, 45, or 60 minutes you can grow at your own pace and make it work for your schedule. Lessons are charged as a monthly tuition to provide an environment that rewards consistency which is key to making progress with any instrument.
Jazz Combo Program
The Jazz Combo Program is a three-month immersive program designed for intermediate and advanced musicians looking to deepen their skills in a collaborative setting. Students will develop their technical and improvisational skills while experiencing the nuances of small ensemble collaboration including communication, listening, and leadership. The program culminates in a private concert that includes a live recording so that students not only gain experience in performing but also have recordings to add to their portfolio.
Here’s what my clients are saying
Drew
“Andrew has a natural aptitude for teaching, and his vast experience as a musician propels his teaching abilities even further. He is attentive, engaging, and structures the classes based on what skills you are most interested in developing. In our lessons, he has done a fantastic job applying his strong knowledge of music theory into an easily consumable format, and after only a year of taking lessons with him, I felt much more advanced than I thought I would be. I highly recommend taking lessons from Andrew no matter where you are at in your progress as a pianist.”

“When I started piano lessons with Andrew about a year and a half ago, I had been on a 50 year hiatus from playing the piano. I was a music major at the University of Michigan for my first year and switched majors and for some reason didn’t really sit down at the piano for many years. I happened to hear that my neighbor was taking lessons and was inspired to get back to the piano. I’m so glad I did.
Andrew understood my initial apprehension of how it would go. He’s been patient and understanding during my new musical journey. He wanted to know what my goals were and slowly got me back to a fairly good level of playing. He offers me choices of music to challenge me and is so encouraging when I struggle and get frustrated.
His tips for attacking a piece of music are right on target and I’ve been able to successfully perform pieces of music from classical to ragtime. He’s given me back a part of my life I had thought was lost. I’m so glad my neighbor told me about him!”

“Andrew is an amazing piano teacher! He’s incredibly patient and has a way of making lessons both fun and productive. What I love most is how he really listens to what his students want to achieve and tailors his teaching to fit their goals. At the same time, he makes sure you build strong fundamentals, which is so important for progress. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to become an advanced player, Andrew creates a comfortable and encouraging environment that makes learning the piano a great experience.”
